which includes, The ICW, Motts Channel,
Banks Channel, Shinn Creek, Masonboro
Island, Masonboro inlet, & Onslow Bay  
including offshore in the Atlantic Ocean.
ASA BKB-101 & BCC-103
Build your confidence with "Hands-on crew  
practice" maneuvering in  tight quarters using wheel
steering & diesel engine with different wind & current
conditions.  Anchor, pick up mooring buoys and learn
to dock professionally without stepping off the
boat..Learn & practice crew positions for all
points-of-sail.  Tacking, gybing, reefing, heaving-to,  
(Figure 8 & Quickstop) MOB rescue techniques, and
of course Knots.  ASA 101 & 103 are 2 day 9am to
5pm classes taught on board II Dolphins.
ASA BBC-104 Bareboat Chartering
The 3 day/2 night (Southport/Baldhead Island) trip is
a complete live- aboard class which offers you one
of the best ways to develop those 101/103 skills
into the confidence you need to solo sail.  Overnight
anchoring and docking, cooking, trip planning, dingy
exploring, and sailing offshore is here.  Safety, good
food MENU and southern hospitality is our motto.  The
104 Bareboat trip is designed for daylight only.  We
will be anchored or docked safely before sundown.
ASA BBC-105 Coastal Navigation
No prerequisites required. Self-Study program only
ASA ACC-106 Adv.Coastal Cruising
The 106 Advanced Coastal Cruising Class is for day
sailors who want to hone and refine their already
good sailing skills and knowledge base  to become
serious offshore sailors by day and night in coastal
waters.  This class will challenge your mental &
physical abilities.  It requires advanced preparation &
study and includes a comprehensive study guide
